Under Part IV of the European Communities Environmental Objectives (Groundwater) Regulations 2010, there is a duty on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to classify groundwater bodies. Under Section 12 of S.I. No. 9 of 2010 (S.I. No. 9 of 2010), sites that have existing site inputs must be retrospectively reviewed to determine if they meet the key objectives of the Regulations. JRE can complete groundwater risk screening assessment and spatio temporal modelling to determine site compliance with the Environmental Objectives (Groundwater) regulations.
